Conservatory Designs and Finishes

Conservatories are complex and can include a lot of different design options and finishes.

Having a conservatory installed is a big commitment, both from a monetary and personal perspective. Conservatory Outlet understand this and offer a very personal feel to their customer care. After getting in touch, you will be contacted at a time which suits you to arrange a meeting, where you will be taken through every step of the way – from the design process to building and post sales service.

Every section in the conservatory design process has been carefully considered. This includes a weatherseal forming using a lead flashing trim. This is cemented into the brickwall, unlike with other roof systems. The wall rafter has also been designed with a soak tray to tuck the lead seal into. Not only does this protect from the risk of future stains on the conservatory roof, but also gives a perfectly straight lead trim line.

To complete your conservatory, Conservatory Outlet use a watertight gasket seal between the glass and frames of the windows and roof. However, the black lines of the gasket can be off-putting to some, therefore we offer the option of specially engineered internal gaskets designed to seal under the frame. This reduces the visible part of the gasket, creating a very neat finish around the glass both inside and outside of your brand new Conservatory.

There are many different colour options to chose from – including a variety of woodgrain effect finishes. These conservatories are equipped with aluminium top caps, because they can withstand higher temperatures. Every detail has been considered to ensure the conservatories are top quality and last for many, many years.

There are also finishing touches to install. These can create a magnificent feature to your new center piece. Perfect Fit Blinds can be fitted, under floor heating installed, furniture added, even power points added for that big screen television. Privacy can also be a factor, Conservatory Outlet understand this and offer a range of 5 different levels of obscure PVC-U panels – allowing privacy from neighbours.

Orangery Design

What is an orangery? At Conservatory Outlet we have a fantastic range of Orangeries and want to tell you a little bit about them.

One of the main feature of our range of orangeries is that we utilise brickwork or stone columns within the design, so that you don’t have the uPVC conservatory bay pole or corner posts you would normally find with any conservatory.

orangery30

Also, we tend to fit internal lighting with downlighters which creates a great look to the inside of the design, and it also helps sets it apart from a normal conservatory. To describe the difference simply, an orangery feels more like a glass extension or sunroom with a combination of glazed frames and walls.

The images shown are taken from examples of installed orangeries and from a photoshoot we did oh a completed project recnetly.

modern orangery

There are numerous orangery designs available, including Victorian Orangeries, Edwardian Orangeries and more modern oranageries.

Conservatory Outlet offer great prices on Orangeries. So if you’re looking for a quote, or perhaps some Orangery or Conservatory Inspiration please contact our freephone number on 0800 915 8844 or submit a free quote online.

Modern bespoke conservatory

Dear Sir/Madam,

I recently bought a modern conservatory from Conservatory Outlet, with double glazing windows and doors.

I was just writing to say that the conservatory price was very competitive and after enquiring with some other companies, their cost at first seemed slightly cheaper, but when looking over the small print and looking at previous reviews, they added on extras which we wouldn’t have realised until the end if we hadn’t checked.

So I just wanted to write to say thank you for not adding on any hidden costs, for being completely honest with us and of course installing a fantastic conservatory for us. Me and my husband enjoy going there in the evening and watching the wildlife in the backgarden, it’s very nice and relaxing.

Please find a picture of the inside of our conservatory that my husband took, it really does look very nice.

Thank you once again,
Mrs Batty

Conservatories and uPVC windows, Wales

Conservatory and Double Glazing company, Mid Wales Windows, has posted impressive sales for the first 4 months of 2009 since joining the ever-growing Conservatory Outlet dealership network.

Conservatory Outlet have approached this by creating Mid Wales Windows a purpose built website for targeting potential conservatory and double glazing customers in their target area of Newtown, Welshpool, Aberystwyth, Llanidloes, Knighton, Llandrindod Wells and throughout Powys. They have also benefited from a dedicated range of point of sale displays such as conservatory, window and door brochures.

David Wilde, Managing Director, commented, “We were impressed with the overall feel of marketing and business support provided by Conservatory Outlet, but we were definitely surprised at how much of an impact it has made. Sales for the first four months of 2009 are 53% up compared to the same period of 2008. We can’t believe it!”

Recently, the company has added new conservatory display models to their Newtown conservatory showroom, and are currently adding a contemporary orangery. Despite the recession in the UK replacement window market, and business in general, Mid Wales Windows have found the Welsh public have been very receptive to their new A Rated energy efficient windows.

Matthew Glover, Managing Director of Conservatory Outlet, admits that the real growth has been achieved through the continuous hard work of the Mid Wales Windows team. “We pride ourselves in offering far more than just window frames and are keen to assist installation companies grow” stated Matthew, “but the real hard work has been put in by David, Davina and the staff at Mid Wales Windows. They’ve been a great company to deal with as they already had a great reputation for offering a good service, and becoming a Conservatory Outlet dealer has just given them more motivation and inspiration.”

A new blog page has been added to the Mid Wales Windows website, this is so that as the team add news about new conservatory and window installations, more traffic is generated on their website.

Conservatory Outlet now has 12 conservatory and window showrooms in the UK, covering Yorkshire, Lancashire, Cumbria, Cheshire, Merseyside, Shropshire, and much of Wales. They are also looking for premium quality installation companies in neighbouring areas to expand the network further.
